Imposter posing as CBI Superintendent held in Guwahati

GUWAHATI, Nov 13: Guwahati City Police detained an imposter named Prasanta Bordoloi (40), a resident of Satobari, Morigaon, for posing as a CBI Superintendent and demanding money from people.

The accused was detained and kept at Basistha Police Station last night.

During enquiry, it has come to light that the person fooled several people into believing that he was a CBI SP after displaying his fake identity card and fraudulently collected money from them.

Fake I-cards and two mobile phones have been seized from his possession.
