Guwahati: Speeding Truck kills Traffic Policeman near Basistha Chariali Gurdwara

GUWAHATI: An Assam Police Traffic officer was killed in an accident near Basistha Chariali Gurdwara, Guwahati.

The deceased, Mintu Das had finished his duty and was returning home when he met with an accident on Thursday night. He was hit by a speeding truck and died on the spot.

The speeding truck was later seized by Assam Police. Mintu Das was assigned to the traffic division of Basistha Police Station.
