Nabagraha ready for Tarun Gogoi’s final rites

GUWAHATI: All the arrangements have been completed for the final rites of former Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi at the Nabagraha crematorium in Guwahati. Gogoi will be cremated will the full state honours today.

On Wednesday night, Assam health, finance and education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma supervised the preparation at the crematorium.

While, all the arrangements at Nabagraha have been made, special traffic regulations and restrictions have been issued on some roads for a few hours during the daytime to ensure that the event passes off smoothly.
