Assam records 5,613 new Covid-19 cases, 77 losses in a day

Guwahati: Assam recorded 5,613 new covid cases in a day. The state has so far recorded 4,03,623 cases including 3,245 deaths, as per the National Health Mission. Presently, there are 54,948 active cases in the state.

Tinsukia inscribed the highest 11 losses, succeeding Kamrup Metro which has stood on the summit of the tally till day. Cachar district recorded 11 deaths, whereas 5 people died in Kamrup Metro, Nagaon, and Barpeta.

Among the new cases, 580 were identified in Kamrup Metro, 516 in Cachar, plus 352 in Dibrugarh. The latest cases were discovered out of 1,16,562 tests handled throughout the day, working the daily positivity flow to 4.82 percent.

The amount of recovered victims discharged through the time is 3,905 and the total quantity of improvements is 3,44,083.

In total, 32,45,384 people got the first shot of the COVID vaccines in the state also, 8,26,894 got the second dose.

Chief Minister Hinanta Biswa Sarma stated that the condition in the state was demanded to develop within the next five to six days including the administration will examine the constraints forced on June 5.

He stated that there may be the feasibility of partial relaxations from June 7 however most of the constraints will proceed to continue in force till June 15.
