Power of social media: All five accused in the viral sexual abuse video case arrested

Bengaluru: All five accused in the viral video of rape have been arrested in Bengaluru by the Bengaluru Police who was hiding inside a flat in the city. Of the accused, one woman who was seen in the clip has also been arrested whose name has been withheld from the public by the Bengaluru Police.

All the accused including the victim are illegal immigrants from Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Police in one its press statements reported that the victim and one of the accused had entered India three years ago and had made fake Aadhar Cards in India.

The interrogation was done based on the viral video. Since as revealed the victim is in a neighbouring state who will be brought to Bengaluru to participate in the investigation.
