Assam: Have No ID card? You are still eligible for vaccination after on-site registration

Guwahati: In the latest SOP released by the state government of Assam regarding vaccination for the age group 18-44 years of age, beneficiaries holding no ID cards can now get vaccination with on-site registration.

In an official notification released by the government, the state government informed that a special session for people without ID Cards, like pensioners, old age home members, saints/sadhus, beggars, people in mental healthcare.

The vaccination sessions will be organized by the district immunization officers.

It further stated that the facility will be opened for only Tea Garden areas for the time being and slots to be reserved for people without smart phones.
