Assam Earthquake: Second jolt in less than 24 hours

Guwahati: Assam again felt the the tremors in less than 24 hours after a mild earthquake hit the state today at around 9:50 am. Assam was hit by a mild jolt yesterday afternoon at around 2:23 pm in the afternoon with its epicentre being Sonitpur, Assam and of magnitude 4.1.

In the latest earthquake update that shook this morning, the magnitude has been recorded as 3.8 with epicentre being Sonitpur, Assam. The depth of the jolt being 24 km.
