Viral Sexual Assault Video: Two Accused tried to escape, shot in the legs by Police

Bengaluru: In a latest development in the viral sexual abuse case that shook the country, two of its accused who were arrested by the Bengaluru police in Ramamurthy Nagar, were shot after they tried to escape. The incident that brought widespread resentment and shocked the nation has been seeing a ripple of developments following the arrest of the five accused including a woman who was identified from the clips that went viral in social media.

All the accused including the victim are illegal immigrants from Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Police in one its press statements reported that the victim and one of the accused had entered India three years ago and had made fake Aadhar Cards in India.

The interrogation was done based on the viral video. Since as revealed the victim is in a neighbouring state who will be brought to Bengaluru to participate in the investigation.
