India reports 1.65L Covid cases, lowest since April 12
India recorded fewer than 2 lakh Covid-19 cases the third time in a series, with 1,65,553 new cases reported in the end 24 hours. In the same period, 3,460 victims died of the coronavirus, the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry stated.
This is the fourth event since April 12 that India has shown less than two lakh cases of Covid19. On May 25, India had reported 1.96 lakh cases of Covid, 1,86,364 cases on May 28, and 1,73,790 cases on May 29.

The deaths have also settled under 4,000 for four continuous times.
India’s overall tally of Covid-19 cases now stands at 2,78,94,800 with 21,14,508 active cases and 3,25,972 deaths so far.
According to the Health Ministry, a sum of 2,76,309 people has been released in the last 24 hours, bringing the total discharge to 2,54,54,320 from Covid till time.

The Health Ministry announced that a whole of 21,20,66,614 people have been vaccinated so far in the nation, including 30,35,749 who were administered vaccines in the latest 24 hours.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, 34,31,83,748 units have been examined up to May 29 for Covid-19. Of those 20,63,839 units were examined on Saturday.
In the last 19 days, India has registered over 70,000 departures. On May 24, India passed a gloomy milestone of three-lakh losses due to coronavirus viruses, thus becoming the world’s third nation following the US and Brazil to converge three-lakh losses.

India registered account mortality due to Covid correctly a week before with 4,529 losses — the greatest quantity of deaths from Covid disease in any nation in a day since the coronavirus crash was reported in China’s Wuhan in December 2019.
