One dead following landslide in Kharguli

With landslides happening across Kamrup district, major disasters could be on its way and one such landslide mishap occurred on Sunday morning where a 21- year-old girl died due to a landslide in Kharguli hills of Guwahati.

The deceased identified as Priyanka Boro was killed while a chunk of the hilly terrains of Kharghuli fell in the premises of her residence and Boro succumbed to the injuries.

Early action for a permanent solution is demanded by the residents.
