Assam: Iron-laden truck rams into Rajdhani Express in Dibrugarh

GUWAHATI: An iron-laden truck (AS-02B-7816) met with an accident with New Delhi-bound Rajdhani Express train near Chabua in Dibrugarh at around 09:30 PM on Wednesday. No casualties were reported.

The incident took place after the speeding truck rammed into a moving Rajdhani Express train.

As per reports, the truck trespassed onto the railway track and hit the Rajdhani Express sideways damaging the B7 coach of the moving train.

Senior railway and district administration officials rushed to the spot.

The truck driver fled from the scene.
