Indian Army foils infiltration bid near LOC, mortar shelling kills 2 infiltrators

Srinagar: The Indian Army foiled a major infiltration bid along LOC in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, early morning on Wednesday. Security forces have been carrying out operation around Nowshera in J&K’s Rajouri district as intel inputs reported of alleged infiltration bid being made by terrorists in the past few days.

In the ongoing operation, security forces gunned down two Pakistani infiltrators and injured the third. As per inputs, the group of infiltrators belongs to a Fidayeen squad.

A massive search operation is under progress as the fidayeen group returned with its injured associates to their launch pad.
