ULFA-I flag found hoisted in Kaki

A flag of ULFA-I was found in front of the gate of a junior college in Kaki area under Hojai district on Thursday. The junior college was only 50 meters away from the Kaki Police Station.

The flag was spotted by locals and informed the police who immediately removed it. “It seems to be a handiwork of miscreants. We are investigating the matter,” said a police officer.

It may be mentioned here that the outfit has been observing November 28 as ‘Pratibad Divas’ (Protest Day) ever since ULFA was declared a banned outfit 22 years ago on this date.
