Fraudster Mridupaban Neog’s bail plea hearing today, why police failed to arrest him?
Guwahati: The Gauhati high court will be hearing the bail plea of fraudster Mridupaban Neog today, who has been absconding for many months now. The fraudster has applied for bail at the Gauhati High Court.
Notably, earlier also, the fraudster sought bail before the court; however, it got rejected.
Let us tell you that for the past three months, the fraudster has been absconding and now he is seeking bail.
At the time when the Assam government has announced that the police would spare no criminal, then the question arises why the Assam police have failed to arrest Mridupaban till now despite knowing the location of him who is in Madhya Pradesh.

What may be the reason for the delay of Mridupaban arrest?
Let’s remind you that Mridupaban is accused of blackmailing women, money laundering and women trafficking, but then also why is Assam police still silent?
Mridupaban used to introduce himself as an official of the Union Home Ministry and was assisted by a group of police officials. Who provides the government’s high-tech security to Mridupawan Neog? Now it remains under question.
Earlier, during the raid conducted by Assam police at Mridupaban’s house, the police found many objectionable documents, including 3.2 pistol, ammunitions, APS and IPS badge, foreign currencies, three stamp pads of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India plate inscribing Ashok Pillar, laptop and gold chain.
After this also the inefficiency of the Assam police to arrest the fraudster raised many questions over the government’s administrative structure and its officials.
Notably, after the Mridupaban case came to light, it came to news that he is connected with many BJP and RSS leaders. Does political power back Mridupaban because of which the police didn’t arrest the absconding fraudster till now?
We want to clarify that having photographs with high-profile leaders doesn’t mean that they are related to Mridupaban. It’s an assumption that may not be true.
But, the failure of the Assam police has cast doubt on the leaders of BJP and RSS.
