Assam: Final year MBBS students trained to deal with Coronavirus
GUWAHATI: In a move to bolster the fight against Coronavirus outbreak, Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has been introducing several steps on war footing.
In line with the health department’s back-up plan to address the possibility of scarcity of doctors, final year MBBS students are being trained for Coronavirus treatment. On Monday, the final year students were trained on Covid treatment protocols at Silchar Medical College, Assam Medical College, Diburgarh and Tezpur Medical College.
