BJP names its candidates for the bypolls in 32 constituencies

New Delhi : With bypolls for several constituencies scheduled on October 21, the BJP has named its candidates for constituencies spread across Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh.

State BJP party for Assam named Bijay Malakar as its candidate for the Ratabari seat, Toufiqur Rahman for Jania, Rajen Borthakur for Rangapara and Nabanita Handique for Sonari. The party named Switi Singh as its candidate for Kishanganj in Bihar and Kachuram Kashyap for Chitrakot in Chhattisgarh.

The names for other remaining constituencies too have been named. The byelections or bypolls will take place on October 21 and the results will be announced on October 24, 2019.
